Antagonism (Drug Interaction)
Определение
An interaction where one drug reduces or blocks the effect of another drug. This can occur through pharmacodynamic antagonism (opposing receptor effects) or pharmacokinetic antagonism (one drug increases the metabolism of another).
Пример
NSAIDs can antagonize the blood pressure-lowering effect of ACE inhibitors by promoting sodium retention, potentially reducing antihypertensive efficacy.
